Higher Education is about to enter a period of extreme uncertainty.  Changes in fee structures are already producing a scramble for University places in 2011.  In the longer term, as students face up to the real and mounting costs of participating in higher education the impact of these movements and changes in attitude are likely to have a real effect on the number and range of institutions and courses.  Students seem likely to demand real value from the courses they apply for.  Institutions may need to very flexible and dynamic if they are to survive – providing ways of learning that depart from the conventional.

In these circumstances, understanding ‘the consumer’ has rarely been more important.  Appreciating student attitudes to debt, and price sensitivity between different offerings is an area that we have covered in the past and are likely to need to do so again.

Our expertise in Higher Education has proved invaluable in a number of key areas, including the assessment of central services, marketing and communications, school/faculty research and applicant research.

Whatever your area of interest, we would like to think that research from Market Measures in this field will be more than an education.
