Clients
Retail research is something we do a lot of and is something we are very good at. We work across a wide range of sectors and use various methodologies to answer any questions our clients might have.
We run continuous tracking surveys for prominent wholesale, supermarket and DIY Shed retailers, tracking store performance and advising on the most effective way to maximise levels of customer satisfaction.
We work with store location planners to profile people in retail centres and surrounding catchments to understand which locations provide the closest demographic and attitudinal match for new store openings.
We work with Retail Consultancies and Private Equity Investors to help inform them about the potential value of retail businesses from the point-of-view of the customer. These surveys usually focus on understanding competitive reasons for spend and the competitor landscape – where retailers sit in comparison to competition, and why people choose to use them rather than shopping elsewhere.
We work with various shops and Department Stores, running customer profiling surveys and helping them better understand who their customers are and where they live.
Increasingly we make use of customer databases to interact with past and existing customers via online surveys, online forums and telephone interviews. Conducting online surveys among a database of customers can be an extremely cost-effective way of surveying large numbers of people. We can also go one step further and set-up a bespoke Online Community of your own, using your customer database as a starting point for recruitment.
Within the retail sector we also work with manufacturers to optimise the range, price points and layout of their products in-store. Much of this work involves observations and interviews at specific fixtures in-store and gives insight into the decision making process at the point of purchase.
Whatever your question might be, we will establish the best way of answering it in a timely and cost-effective manner.
