Recruiting a rapid response panel
Our brief was to set up a panel of brand loyal regular on-trade drinkers, to enable our client to evaluate a number of possible formulations for further larger scale quantitative testing. Segmentation work had previously been carried out to identify core consumers and the client was keen to test out new recipes with them in order to get an “expert” understanding of what worked and what didn’t. Using our fieldwork team we were able to recruit a selection of target respondents and to engage them to participate in regular on-site tasting sessions and group discussions over a number of weeks. This allowed adjustments and modifications to the products to be made and re-assessed in real time.
